When there are vibrations on the base of any objects , then due to the vibrations the particles which has mass more than that of the base will keep on rotating and revolting around a fixed axis which is not having the same path.
So there are vibrations in the space which help in the planets to rotate and revolute around the sun.
The vibrations can be of any type.
